The Old Fort Park and Golf Course is a 50-acre park and public golf course located at 1028 Golf Ln, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. The course is in excellent shape for the time of year. Some tee boxes could be mowed a little lower, but the overall condition is great. The fairways and greens are fast and hold shots well. However, one issue I noticed is that the flag is often not marked in a clear location on the green. This may affect a player's ability to see his or her putting surface.
Earlier in the day, Michael Massey had started his round by hitting his tee shot to the left. However, play was interrupted due to rain. When play resumed, Massey made a double bogey on the first hole. He had to make four birdies on the inward half to finish at even par.
